Qián Mǐn 錢愐 (fl. XīníngJiànyán, c. 1075–1135). Third son of Péngchéng wáng Qián Jǐngzhēn 錢景臻 (great-grandson of Wúyuè king Qián Chù 錢俶), maternal nephew of Sòng Yīngzōng 英宗 (Zhào Shù; miàohàoZhāolíng 昭陵”). His grandfather was Jì guógōng Qián Huì 錢暄 ( Zàiyáng 載陽), who served as Jiàbù lángzhōng governing Fǔzhōu and Táizhōu and rising to Shǎofǔjiān. His father Qián Jǐngzhēn was posthumously enfeoffed Péngchéng wáng in Jiànyán 2 (1128), establishing the terminus post quem of the work.

Author of the KR3l0036 Qiánshì sīzhì 錢氏私志 in 1 juàn, composed in the early Southern Sòng and recording the Qián family / Sòng-imperial intermarriage history. The text was edited and prefaced by Qián Shìzhāo 錢世昭 (Qián Mǐn’s relative); some catalog traditions and the Sìkù edition attribute the work to Qián Shìzhāo or to Qián Yànyuǎn 錢彥遠, but Qián Zēng’s 錢曾 Dúshū mǐnqiú jì established Qián Mǐn as the actual author on lineage grounds — Qián Yànyuǎn would be a paternal uncle once-removed to Péngchéng wáng and could not use the term “xiān wáng” 先王 in the text. CBDB has no firm record under either Qián Mǐn or Qián Shìzhāo.
