Early- to mid-Qīng historian and chronological-reference compiler; native of Xiùshuǐ 秀水 (modern Jiāxīng, Zhèjiāng). Zì Guǎnghàn 廣漢. His principal extant work is the Lìdài jiànyuán kǎo 歷代建元考 (KR2m0041), a comprehensive reference on Chinese reign-titles ranking with the slightly earlier work of Wú Sùgōng 吳肅公 and the slightly later one of Wàn Guāngtài 萬光泰. Precise life-dates and biographical details not transmitted; fl. mid-to-late Kāngxī era, c. 1660–1700.
