Yán Míngguǎng 閻明廣 (fl. mid-12th c., 金), Jīn-dynasty acupuncturist of Chángshān 常山 (modern Héběi). Author of the foundational Zǐwǔ liúzhù zhēn jīng 子午流注針經 (KR3ee045, 1153, zhēnyuán guǐyǒu), the systematic Jīn-period treatise that establishes the zǐwǔ liúzhù chronoacupuncture doctrine — the assignment of specific acupoints to specific celestial-stem / earthly-branch hour-and-day combinations. Yán’s work synthesized the earlier 10th-century Zhǐwēi lùn 指微論 and Zhǐwēi zhēn fù 指微針賦 of Hé Ruòyú 何若愚 (南唐何公). The doctrine was further developed in the Jīn-Yuán by his successor Dòu Hànqīng (KR3ee017) and systematized into the standard form by the Míng Xú Fèng (KR3ee002).
