Yán Chúnxǐ 閻純璽 ( Wénhóu 文侯, hào Chéngzhāi 誠齋), early-Qīng physician-official of Shànggǔ 上谷 (modern Héběi). Held the post of Zuǒjiāng guāncháshǐ 左江觀察使 (Circuit Intendant of the Left River) of Guǎngxī, where he composed and printed the Tāichǎn xīnfǎ 胎產心法 (KR3ei058) in 1730 (Yōngzhèng gēngxū, prefaced jìjú yuè zhī zhōnghuàn) at his official residence. The author’s prefaces — the 1725 preface by Gōng Jiànyáng 龔健揚 (1725: Yōngzhèng 3) and his own 1730 self-preface — record that Yán spent over thirty years gathering and digesting the prior obstetrical literature. Distinct from his namesake 閻純璽 (Buddhist) and from the SòngYuán Chéngzhāi yǎtán family of scholar-officials. Not in CBDB.
