Ruǎn Wǔ 阮武 (fl. mid 3rd century), zì Wényè 文業, was a CáoWèi 曹魏 official and zǐ-house writer of the famous Chénliú 陳留 Wèishì 尉氏 Ruǎn lineage. He was an uncle of Ruǎn Jí 阮籍 (210–263) and is mentioned in Sānguó zhì 三國志 j. 21 (王粲傳附阮瑀傳) and in Jìn shū 晉書 j. 49 (Ruǎn Jí’s biography) chiefly as the political teacher of his younger nephew. He held the office of Qīngzhōu cìshǐ 清河刺史 (Inspector of Qīngzhōu commandery). His birth and death years are not preserved; he is conventionally placed in the mid-3rd century. CBDB has no entry.
