Ruǎn Yì 阮逸 (fl. 1028–1063), Tiānyǐn 天隱, was a Northern Sòng official of Jiànyáng 建陽 (Fújiàn) and a court music-classical specialist. Jìnshì of Tiānshèng 5 (1027); rose under Rénzōng to Tàicháng bóshì 太常博士 and supervisor of the Lǜlǚ 律呂 reform under the imperial commission of Sòng Qí 宋祁 and Hú Yuàn 胡瑗 (his close collaborator). He is the standard premodern commentator on Wáng Tōng’s Zhōng shuō 中說 (KR3a0014), with his commentary preserved in the SKQS-base. The Zhōng shuō commentary is reliably his; the closing imperially-presented WénZhōngzǐ shìjiā and Yuánfēng additions are not. He also compiled the music-treatise Huángyòu xīn yuètú jì 皇祐新樂圖記 with Hú Yuàn (1052), which is included in the SKQS music section. CBDB id 14215, no dates confirmed; conventional fl. ca. 1028–1063 from his Sòng dating.
