Yīn Jìngxián 陰勁弦 (fl. late 13th–early 14th c.), also recorded as Yīn Shíyù 陰時遇 (where Shíyù is given name and Jìngxián is the alternate); zì Shífū 時夫. Native of Fèngxīn 奉新 in Jiāngxī. He came from a family that had lived together as one jiā for several generations and held the Bǎoyòu (1253–1258) jiǔjīng kē 九經科 of the late Southern Sòng. After the Yuán conquest he refused service and lived in eremitic retreat. His chief work is the Yùnfǔ qúnyù 韻府群玉 (KR3k0039), the foundational yùnfǔ (rhyme-treasury) reference work, compiled with the editorial collaboration of his elder brother Yīn Fùchūn 陰復春 (zì Zhōngfū 中夫). The work was widely used through the Míng and Qīng and was a principal source for the Kāngxī imperial Pèiwén yùnfǔ.
