Southern-Sòng official, grandson of 陳瓘 Chén Guàn. 馮椅 Féng Yǐ reports having met Chén Dàyīng and seen a fuller version of his grandfather’s Yì jiě 易解 — more than one juan and substantially guàbiàn 卦變 (“hexagram-change”) oriented, in the manner of 朱震 Zhū Zhèn (KR1a0024). That fuller text is now lost; only the compressed Liǎozhāi Yì shuō (KR1a0018) printed by his cousin 陳正同 Chén Zhèngtóng survives.
