Chén Yǒu 陳槱 (fl. 1190–1219). Native of Chánglè 長樂, Fújiàn. Grandson of Chén Jǐ 陳幾. Jìnshì of Shàoxī 1 (1190). Author of the Fù xuān yě lù 負暄野錄 (KR3j0168) in 2 juàn, a substantive Southern-Sòng treatise on calligraphy, stone-engravings, and the wénfáng sìbǎo (paper, ink, brush, inkstone). The work was transmitted unsigned and his authorship was reconstructed by the Sìkù editors from internal evidence (the Qínxǐ entry’s self-reference Yǒu with the Jiādìng jǐmǎo 1219 date, and the recollection of conversations with Yóu Mào 尤袤) by triangulation with the Mǐn shū. No further biographical evidence has been recovered.
