Chén Tiánfū 陳田夫 (字 Gēngsǒu 耕叟), Southern-Sòng layman-scholar; lifedates not transmitted; floruit mid-12th c. Resident at Mount Héng 衡山 (the Nányuè 南嶽) for an extended reclusive period, during which he composed his gazetteer of the mountain. His sole substantial Kanripo work is the 《南嶽總勝集》 Nányuè zǒngshèng jí (KR6r0132, T2097, 3 juan, ca. 1163–1180) — the principal surviving Sòng-period comprehensive gazetteer of the Southern Marchmount, treating both Buddhist and Daoist establishments and the canonical 72-peak landscape.
