Chén Mó 陳謨 (Sòng), zì Zhōngxíng 中行, was a Southern Sòng official of Yǒngchūn 永春 (Quánzhōu 泉州, Fújiàn). Jìnshì of Qìngyuán 2 (1196). Held a sequence of imperial-library posts: appointed Mìshūshěng zhèngzì in Jiātài 2 (1202), with concurrent Guóshǐyuàn biānxiū from Jiātài 3 (1203); appointed Shílùyuàn jiǎntǎo guān in Kāixǐ 3 (1207); appointed Jiàoshū láng in Jiādìng 2 (1209) with continuing jiǎntǎo duty. His career outline is in the Guǎngé xùlù. His major surviving work is the Dōnggōng bèilǎn 東宮備覽 (KR3a0068), submitted to the throne during his Mìshūshěng zhèngzì tenure (Jiātài 2 / 1202) for the heir-apparent’s instruction. (Note: the Kanripo catalog meta gives the author’s name as 陳模 — apparently a typographical slip 模 for 謨, as both pronounced mó. The form 陳謨 is preserved in the SKQS WYG source itself; the Sòng shǐ yìwén zhì records this work under 陳謨, and the form 陳謨 is followed here. The 陳模 form circulates in some modern catalogs.)
