Chén Gāo 陳高 (1315–1367), zì Zǐshàng 子上, zìhào Búxìzhōu yúzhě 不繫舟漁者 (whence the title of his collection KR4d0542). Native of Píngyáng 平陽 (Wēnzhōu, Zhèjiāng). Zhìzhèng 14 (1354) jìnshì. Appointed Qìngyuánlù lùshì; resigned within 3 years. After Píngyáng fell to rebels, abandoned wife and children and wandered between Fújiàn and Zhèjiāng. Zhìzhèng 16 (1356) sailed to Shāndōng to call on the Hénánwáng Kùkùtèmùěr 庫庫特穆爾 (Qiánlóng sinicization of original Kuòkuòtièmùěr 擴廓鐵木兒 = Köke Temür, son of CháhǎnTièmùěr) at Huáiqìng — mì lùn Jiāngnán xūshí (secretly discussed Jiāngnán’s actual state). Kuòkuòtièmùěr wanted to appoint him to office; in the meantime Chén fell ill and died. Míng Tàizǔ once called Kuòkuòtièmùěr “Wáng bǎo-bao zhēn nánzǐ” (Wáng bǎo-bao, the real man) — Chén Gāo zhě — shì suī bùjiù — qí zhì yì bùkuì Wáng-Bǎo-bao yǐ. The collection Bùxìzhōu yú jí KR4d0542 (originally titled Zǐshàng cúngǎo by Sòng Bóhéng’s 蘇伯衡 Hóng-wǔ-early arrangement) is the principal monument.
