Lù Shìè 陸士諤, míng Shǒuxiān 守先, zì Yúnxiáng 雲翔, hào Shìè 士諤 (1878–1944), native of Qīngpǔ 青浦 (now in Shànghǎi, then in Sōngjiāng 松江 prefecture). A Republican-period scholar-physician and novelist of the Shànghǎi medical-literary milieu. He maintained a clinical practice in Sōngjiāng (his preface to KR3ep078 Wáng Mèngyīng yīàn is dated 1921 at “松江醫室”), in parallel with a substantial career as a prolific popular fiction-writer — his 1910 utopian novel Xīn Zhōngguó 新中國 is one of the early classics of Chinese science-fiction. Medical works include the topical rearrangement of Wáng Mèngyīng casebooks, Yīxué nánzhēn 醫學南針, and others. Not in CBDB.
