陸瘦燕 Lù Shòuyàn
Lù Shòuyàn 陸瘦燕 (1909–1969), modern Chinese acupuncturist of Shanghai, founder of the “Lù-school” (陸氏針灸) of acupuncture; principal of the Shanghai Acupuncture Research Institute and a major figure in the post-1949 reconstitution of Chinese acupuncture. Collaborated with his wife 朱汝功 Zhū Rǔgōng on numerous clinical and historical studies, collected in Lù Shòuyàn zhēnjiǔ lùnzhù jí 陸瘦燕針灸論著集 (Shanghai, 2008).
