Yǎlè 雅樂, the eldest son of the late-Qīng physician 蘭陔先生 Lángāi xiānshēng. He transcribed and edited his father’s clinical cases into the fifteen-juǎn compilation KR3ep067 Shènwǔtáng zhìyàn lù, following his father’s instruction that the cases be preserved “with all year-month-locality-prescription detail intact.” His editorial preface is dated to the compilation period 1862–1879 (Tóngzhì 1 to Guāngxù 5). No further transmitted biographical record.
