Yúnchuān Dàoren 雲川道人 (also written 云川道人, “Cloud-River Daoist”, fl. mid-Qiánlóng era), Qīng Daoist-affiliated literatus-physician active at his retreat the Píngcuì shānfáng 萍翠山房 (“Duckweed-Green Mountain-Cottage”). Author of the Jiàngnáng cuōyào 絳囊撮要 (KR3ed116), a 1-juǎn clinical formulary with a self-preface dated Qiánlóng 9 jiǎzǐ mid-summer 13th (= summer 1744). The preface’s metaphysical apparatus — xiāntiān / hòutiān, língmíng / xuèqì, qióngzhī yáocǎo — is consistent with the inner-alchemy nèidān tradition and identifies the compiler as a Daoist-doctrinal physician. No securely-identified secular personal name; the hào is the only signature.
