雲棲祩宏

Yúnqī Zhūhóng (蓮池大師 Liánchí dàshī, 1535–1615) was one of the Míngmò sìdà gāosēng 明末四大高僧 (Four Eminent Monks of the late Míng) and the principal architect of the late-Míng Pure-Land–Chán synthesis at his monastery on Yúnqīshān 雲棲山 in Hángzhōu. His critique of the Tiāntái xìngjù è 性具惡 (buddha-nature inherently includes evil) doctrine was the polemical occasion for 傳燈 Yōuxī Chuándēng’s Xìng shàn’è lùn (KR6d0246). DILA Authority A001941.
