Gù Mèngxióng 顧夢熊 ( Wèichuān 渭川), late-Qīng / early-Republican physician of the Mènghé 孟河 medical school (the elite Chángzhōu 常州 lineage culminating in Fèi Bóxióng 費伯雄, Mǎ Péizhī 馬培之, and Dīng Gānrén 丁甘仁). Studied under his clan-uncle Gù Zhàolín 顧兆麟; involved in the founding of the Shànghǎi Yīxué yánjiūsuǒ 上海醫學研究所 in the 1900s as a Mèng-hé-trained internal-medicine practitioner with a parallel interest in classical-Chinese acupuncture-moxibustion. Best known as the collator-editor of the 1910 (Xuāntǒng 2) Shànghǎi lithographic edition of the 葉桂-attributed KR3eq006 Yèxuǎn yīhéng 葉選醫衡 prepared for use by the Institute’s students. Not in CBDB; the Wèi-chuān-name biographical entry in the Mènghé lineage references is the principal source.
