Gù Shīshì 顧師軾 (1799–1884), late-Qīng scholar from the Sūzhōu / Tàicāng region, principal compiler of the Wú Méicūn xiānshēng nián pǔ 吳梅村先生年譜 (1841) — the foundational chronological biography of 吳偉業 Wú Wěiyè (1609–1672) — and editor of the fùlù 坿錄 to the Méicūn jiācáng gǎo 梅村家藏藁 (KR4f0013), which assembles biographical and bibliographic apparatus around Wú’s collected works. The CBDB entry (id 86282) confirms his DàoGuāng to Guāngxù lifespan (1799–1884), placing him exactly mid-19th-century Suzhou literati culture. His editorial work on the Méicūn corpus appeared in the 1841 gēngxū recension printed at Tàicāng, the basis for the Republican-era SBCK reprint with collation by Sūn Yùxiū.
