Féng Shān 馮山 (1031–1094, original name Xiànnéng 獻能, Yǔnnán 允南), of Pǔcí 普慈 in Ānyuè 安岳 (Sichuan). Jiāyòu 2 / 1057 jìnshì (the same examination as the Sān Sū 三蘇 — Sū Xún, Sū Shì, Sū Zhé). Held mid-rank provincial offices through Xīníng and Yuánfēng; refused appointment as a táiguān (censor) under the New Policies, on which the empire held him in high esteem; recalled in Yuányòu on Fàn Chúnfū 范純夫 (Fàn Zǔyǔ) 范祖禹’s recommendation, finally rising to Cíbù lángzhōng 祠部郎中, posthumously Tàishī. Long associated with Méi Yáochén 梅堯臣 and Sū Shùnqīn 蘇舜欽 in the early-Northern-Sòng break from the YángLiú (Yáng Yì 楊億 / Liú Yún 劉筠) Xīkūn manner. His son Féng Xiè 馮澥 (jinshi 1079, eventually Shàngshū zuǒchéng, posthumously Zīzhèngdiàn xuéshì; Chángyuán 長源) had his own 45-juǎn collection. Father and son were jointly cut at Lúzhōu in Jiādìng 12 / 1219 by Zhōu Ruì 周銳 (with Liú Guāngzǔ 劉光祖 and Hé Dégù 何悳固 prefacing); only the father’s first 12 juǎn of poetry survive — the Ānyuè jí 安岳集 KR4d0053.
