Gāo Sījìng 高思敬 ( Qìyún 憩雲, hào Zhēnān 貞庵, fl. Guāngxù – early Republic, 清), late-Qīng surgical physician of Jiāngyīn 江陰 (Chéngjiāng 澄江, Jiāngsū). Trained first in internal medicine under Zhào Yúnquán 趙雲泉 and then in external medicine under Lǐ Yùliáng 李遇良; claimed forty-odd years of practice. His mother’s protracted túnjū 臀疽 (buttock abscess) in 1858 drove his decision to abandon the examination track for medicine. The most prolific late-Qīng exponent of the Wáng Hóngxù quánshēng pài 全生派 (cf. 王洪緒, KR3ek017); his ten surgical works are collected as Gāo Qìyún wàikē quánshū shízhǒng 高憩雲外科全書十種 (1909), with KR3ek010 Wàikē yījìng as the principal title. His Yùnqì zhǐzhǎng 運氣指掌 was published in 1916, placing his career across both the late Qīng and the early Republic. CBDB has two homonyms; 575570 (dyn 20 = 清) is the correct match.
