Gāo Dǒukuí 高斗魁 ( Dànzhōng 旦中, hào Gǔfēng 鼓峰, 1623–1670) — early-Qīng physician of Sìmíng 四明 (Níngbō, Zhèjiāng). One of the most distinctive clinicians of the early-Qīng Zhèdōng 浙東 medical scene, classically trained in the Confucian curriculum (由儒而精於醫) before turning to private medical practice. Gāo did not publish in his lifetime; his clinical case-records and doctrinal essays were collected after his death by 楊乘六 Yáng Chéngliù into the Yīzōng jǐrèn biān 醫宗己任編 (KR3er067), which through Yáng’s editorial work and Wáng Rǔqiān’s 1891 supplemented edition has remained the principal witness to Gāo’s medical thought.
