Gāo Huìsǒu 高晦叟 (fl. Chóngníng — Xuānhé, c. 1100–1130). The Sìkù compilers report explicitly that “his official record is not recoverable”; native place, official rank, and lifedates are all unknown. CBDB has no firm entry under this name. The author is therefore reconstructible solely from his sole surviving work, the KR3l0050 Zhēnxí fàngtán 珍席放談 in 2 juàn (recovered from Yǒnglè dàdiǎn extracts by the Sìkù compilers). The work’s chronological range (events down to Zhézōng reign, with Chóngníng-and-after vocabulary) places the author active c. 1100–1130. His defensive treatment of Wáng Ānshí — at the time when the Xīníng-reform-faction historiographic position was politically dominant under the Cài Jīng regime — suggests sympathy with the reform tradition. No other work is attested under his name.
