Wèi Zhòngjǔ 魏仲擧
Sòng-period commercial publisher and editor, active at Jiànān 建安 (modern Jiànōu 建甌, Fújiàn) — one of the principal Sòng commercial-print centers. Floruit Shàodìng / Duānpíng 紹定/端平 period (ca. 1228–1233).
His two principal scholarly products are the parallel Wǔbǎijiā zhù 五百家注 anthologies of the foundational Tang gǔwén writers — the Wǔbǎijiā zhù Chānglí wénjí KR4c0045 for Hán Yù 韓愈 and the Wǔbǎijiā zhù Liǔ xiānshēng jí KR4c0050 for Liǔ Zōngyuán 柳宗元. Both consolidate over a century of Sòng jízhù into 40-juǎn / 21-juǎn anthologies, drawing on the foundational jiàokān of Fāng Sōngqīng 方崧卿 and the kǎoyì of Zhū Xī 朱熹 together with the running commentary of dozens of named Sòng readers. Wèi’s Jiànān prints became the standard YuánMíng kējǔ preparation editions of Hán Yù and Liǔ Zōngyuán. CBDB has no entry.
