Late-Míng Lǐbù (Board of Rites) official; native of Shèxiàn 歙縣 (Huīzhōu, modern Ānhuī). Zì Shānfù 山父. Took the jìnshì in Wànlì yǐwèi (23, 1595); rose to Lǐbù cíjìsī lángzhōng (Director of the Sacrificial Bureau in the Board of Rites). His principal work is the Míngchén shì kǎo 明臣謚考 (KR2m0030), the standard reference for late-Míng posthumous-name conferral. Precise life-dates not transmitted; fl. late Wànlì, c. 1595–1620.
