Huáng Zhōngsōng 黃中松, zì Zhòngyán 仲嚴, was an early-mid-Qīng Shī scholar from Shànghǎi 上海 (then under Sōngjiāng 松江 prefecture, modern Shànghǎi). Lifedates not preserved in the standard sources; CBDB carries no entry for him under this name. Active in the KāngxīQiánlóng transition; the Sìkù-recension of his Shī yí biàn zhèng 詩疑辨證 (KR1c0061) was respectfully collated in Qiánlóng 43 (1778), so completion was before that date.
His Shī yí biàn zhèng is his sole transmitted work — a 6-juǎn Shī-natural-history-and-textual-criticism monograph in the biàn zhèng (distinguishing-and-corroborating) genre. The Kanripo catalog meta carries the title as 詩欵辨證 (a typographical slip — 欵 for 疑 — common in Qīng-period catalogs); the source-edition (WYG / Sìkù) consistently has 詩疑辨證, which is the canonical title.
Otherwise nothing about Huáng’s life is securely documented. The Sìkù tíyào identifies him as a Shànghǎi scholar focused on Shī identification-and-collation — characteristic of the lesser-known Shī-class authors collected in the late-Qiánlóng Sìkù expansion.
