Lí Yuánkuān 黎元寬, zì Bóān 博菴, alternate Zuǒyán 左嚴. Late-Míng / early-Qīng scholar-official from Nánchāng 南昌 (Jiāngxī). Chóngzhēn 戊辰 = 1628 jìnshì; held office as Zhèjiāng xuéshǐ 浙江學使 (provincial education commissioner of Zhèjiāng) in the late Míng. After the dynastic transition retired to private writing.
Buddhist patronage. Author of the lead preface to KR6q0533 《黃蓮東巖禪師語錄》 — describes himself as fǎdì 法弟 (“dharma younger brother”) of Dōngyán Zhēncàn 真璨, suggesting either lay-Buddhist transmission from the same teacher (Jièān Wùjìn) or simply the conventional self-deprecation of literati prefacing a yǔlù. The preface explicitly traces the lineage as “斷橋 [-下] 十五世金明介和尚之嗣子” — LínjìYángqí Duànqiáo 斷橋妙倫 → … → Jièān Wùjìn → Dōngyán Zhēncàn.
