Contemporary Chinese specialist of Dūnhuáng Buddhist manuscripts and Táng commentary literature, contributing editor of the Zàngwài fójiào wénxiàn series. Principal zhěnglǐ 整理 editor of Dàoyè’s two-fascicle Jìngmíng jīng jíjiě Guānzhōng shū 淨名經集解關中疏 — the standard Táng Vimalakīrti commentary — published as KR6v0026 (upper fascicle) and KR6v0032 (lower fascicle), reconstructed from collation of more than thirty Beijing Library and dozens of British, French, and Russian Dūnhuáng witnesses.
