Páng Yùn 龐蘊 (c. 740–808), zì Dàoxuán 道玄, widely known as Páng Jūshì 龐居士 (“Layman Páng”). Táng-era Chán Buddhist layman, disciple of Shítóu Xīqiān and Mǎzǔ Dàoyī, native of Xiāngzhōu 襄州 in Húběi. His residence near Luótián 羅田 (Húběi) is mentioned in 李鵬飛 Lǐ Péngfēi’s preface to Sānyuán cānzàn yánshòu shū (KR3eo012) as a landmark on his pilgrimage; Lǐ records meeting an aged Daoist near the former site of Páng Jūshì.
