龔泰

Gōng Tài (sobriquet Yīzhǐ jūshì 一止居士 of Kēshān 柯山)

Late-Míng / early-Qīng layman (75 suì in 1647) who funded the 1648 printing of 屠垠 Tú Yín’s Jīngāng jīng zhùjiě tiězǎnxián (KR6c0058). Lost his father in childhood and pursued a career of trade in Tiānjīn before encountering a míngshī 明師 who taught him a discipline of fasting and precepts as a “repaying-mother” practice.
