Dīng Kuān 丁寬

Zǐxiāng 子襄. Early Western Hàn 西漢 master, native of Liáng 梁 (modern Hénán). Studied under 田何 Tián Hé alongside the principal heads of the Hàn schools. According to the Hànshū Rúlín zhuàn 漢書·儒林傳 he authored an Yì shuō 易說 in eight piān 篇 and contributed to the transmission of the through his disciple Tián Wángsūn 田王孫, who in turn taught 孟喜 Mèng Xǐ, Shī Chóu 施讎, and Liáng Qiū Hè 梁丘賀. His work is lost; some bibliographies (the Qīlù of 阮孝緒 Ruǎn Xiàoxù) confusingly attributed the Zǐxià Yìzhuàn (KR1a0002) to him.
