Yú Dí 于頔

Táng-era scholar-official and lay Buddhist; patron and interlocutor of the great Chán layman Páng Yùn 龐蘊 (c. 740–808). Compiler (biān jí 編集) of the Páng jūshì yǔlù 龐居士語錄 KR6q0273 — the classical three-juan yǔlù of Páng Yùn. Lifedates approximately contemporary with Páng (mid-to-late 8th to early 9th century).
