Rèn Guǎng 任廣 (fl. Chóngníng 崇寧 1102–1106), Déjiǎn 德儉, native of Jùnyí 浚儀 (modern Kāifēng). The Wénxiàn tōngkǎo’s record of “Rèn Jùn 任浚” is an error noted in the Sìkù tíyào. No biographical material survives in the Sòng shǐ. He was a Northern-Sòng scholar of the late Huīzōng court who did not cross over into the Southern Sòng. His one surviving work is the Shūxù zhǐnán 書敘指南 (KR3k0016), a 20-juan phraseological handbook for chǐdú composition. The work was first printed at Jìngkāng (1126–7) but the blocks were burnt almost immediately in the Jīn sack; a single Wú copy preserved the text into the Southern-Sòng catalogue tradition.
