Compiler of the Chūgoku yakubutsugaku taikō 中國藥物學大綱 (KR3ec080) — a substantial Japanese-language survey of the Chinese pharmacopoeia in the Honzō gangmoku (本草綱目) tradition, with detailed jiànbié (鑑別 = identification) sections for each substance discussing Chinese versus Japanese drug supply and the honzōgaku (本草学) school controversies over substance identification.
