Hé Pǔ 何溥

Style name Lìngtōng 令通. Allegedly a Southern-Tang (937–975) geomantic specialist; native-place and lifedates not securely recorded.

The Sìkù 提要 of KR3g0025 Língchéng jīngyì makes the case that the work attributed to Hé Pǔ is in fact a Míng-period pseudepigraph (see KR3g0025 for details). Whether Hé Pǔ as a historical figure ever existed in the Southern-Tang, or whether the name was invented by a Míng-period geomantic-school author seeking ancient authority for his composition, is unclear. No other works are attributed to him.
