Hé Táng 何瑭 (1474–1543), zì Cuìfū 粹夫, hào Bǎizhāi 柏齋 (or 栢齋), shì Wéndìng 文定, of Wǔzhì 武陟 (Huáiqìngfǔ, Hénán). Hóngzhì 15 / rénxū (1502) jìnshì; rose to Nánjīng yòu dūyùshǐ. Míngshǐ main biography. Dǔxíng lìzhì (substantial-practice, encouraging-resolve); his learning takes gézhì (investigate-things, extend-knowing) as primary — explicitly against Zhàn Ruòshuǐ (湛若水)‘s cúnxīn (preserving-heart) emphasis and against Wáng Yángmíng’s liángzhī. Author of Bǎizhāi sānshū (Bǎizhāi Three Books): Yīnyáng (Yin-Yang Discussion), Yuèlǜ (Pitches-and-Measures), Rúxué guǎnjiàn (Confucian-Learning Tube-View) — Yáojiāng anti-Yáng-míng systematic critique, printed separately by Zhào Wáng 趙王.
