Yú Yòu 余祐 (1465–1528), of Bōyáng 鄱陽 (Ráozhōu, Jiāngxī); disciple and editor of the orthodox-Zhū Lǐxué master Hú Jūrén 胡居仁 (胡居仁). Editor of Hú Wénjìng jí in 3 juǎn (KR4e0144), gathered together from the scattered remains of his teacher’s writings — Hú had explicitly refused to author much, holding that xiānrú zhī yán zhì yǐ, shān qí fán kě yě (the prior Confucians’ words have reached the limit; one need only cut the redundancies).
