Hóu Quán 侯銓 (1664–1735), disciple of 陸隴其 Lù Lóngqí (1630–1693). CBDB id 84977; lifedates firm.

Editor and compiler of the Sānyútáng wénjí 三魚堂文集 (KR4f0040) — Lù Lóngqí’s posthumous 12+6 juan literary collection, assembled in Kāngxī 40 (1701, xīnsì) under the patronage of Lù’s nephew Lù Lǐzhēng 陸禮徵, who had spent nine years after his uncle’s death gathering surviving manuscripts. Hóu’s editorial fánlì placed the Tàijí lùn at the head of the collection, opening with the zázhù and treating the memorials and administrative writings as wàijí (supplementary). The Sìkù tíyào criticizes this priority-ordering, judging that Hóu Quán “knew only to place the Tàijí lùn at the head and treated jīngshì learning as an end-matter, esteeming empty speech and slighting actual administration — which is hardly Lù Lóngqí’s intent.”
