Líng Hóngxiàn 凌弘憲 ( Shūdù 叔度; hào Tiānchí jūshì 天池居士, “Lay practitioner of the Heavenly Pool”) — late-Ming Buddhist lay scholar and book-collector. Lifedates unrecorded. Native of Wúxīng 吳興 (modern Húzhōu 湖州 in Zhèjiāng), the capital district of one of the most important Jiāngnán literati families of the late Ming. The Líng family of Wúxīng was a major literati lineage with significant scholarly and printing activity in the Wànlì–Tiānqǐ period, including the Líng family’s celebrated colour-printed editions of literary classics; Líng Hóngxiàn belongs to this milieu.

His extant work is the Lèngyánjīng zhèngshū guǎngjiě 楞嚴經證疏廣解 in 10 fascicles (KR6j0696, X14 no. 288), a punctuated-and-glossed (diǎnshì 點釋) recension of an earlier Zhèngshū 證疏 (probably the late-Ming zhèngshū tradition deriving from the Zhēngmài shū 正脉疏 lineage of 真鑑). His own preface (“Engraving the Lèngyán”) is dated Tiānqǐ 1 = 1621 CE (天啟元年).
