Liú Zhēn 劉榛 (1635–1690), Shānwèi 山蔚, hào Xūzhōu 虛舟, of Shāngqiū 商丘 (Hénán). A Kāng-xī-era jǔrén and minor official, but principally a gǔwén writer in the Hóu Fāngyù 侯方域 lineage of late-Míng / early-Qīng Hénán prose. He is best known to Sìkù scholarship as the Kāng-xī-era editor who reconstructed Shěn Lǐ’s Yìyùtáng gǎo KR4e0213 in 1690 from fragments after the Wànlì cutting had been destroyed at the end of the Míng. The reconstruction preserves the prose but not the poetry of Shěn Lǐ’s original. CBDB 74852.
