Liú Qīngzhī 劉清之 (1134–1190), zì Zǐchéng 子澄, hào Jìngchūn 靜春, was a Southern Sòng classicist of Línjiāng 臨江 (Jiāngxī). Jìnshì of Shàoxīng rénshēn 紹興壬申 (1152, age 19); held a sequence of provincial posts and rose under Guāngzōng to Zhī Yuánzhōu 知袁州 (Prefect of Yuánzhōu). Personally close to Zhū Xī (his elder by a few years) and to Lǚ Zǔqiān; one of the inner circle of mid-Southern-Sòng Lǐxué figures. Major works: the Jiè zǐ tōng lù 戒子通錄 (KR3a0048, the major Sòng compilation of family-instructional materials drawn from the entire pre-Sòng classical and historical canon); the Wénjí (collected works); other lost compositions noted in his Sòng shǐ biography.
