Liú Xún 劉荀 (Sòng) was a Southern Sòng official and classicist of Dōngpíng 東平 (Shāndōng). Grandson of Shàngshū zuǒ púshè Liú Zhì 劉摯 (1030–1097), the Yuán-yòu-faction Chancellor; his work refers to Liú Zhì as Xiān Wénsù gōng 先文肅公. Held office under Xiàozōng as Zhī Xūyí jūn 知盱眙軍. His career is otherwise unrecoverable. His major surviving work is the Míng běn shì 明本釋 (KR3a0050), a biji of his jiǎngxué discussions in 33 sections drawing on the Yuán-yòu-faction tradition (his grandfather Liú Zhì’s jiāshū), the Chéng-school (Chéng Yí, Yáng Shí, Hú Ānguó’s son Hú Hóng, Zhāng Jiǔchéng), and Zhū Xī. CBDB has no entry for him.
