Shǐ Shéngzǔ 史繩祖 (fl. mid-thirteenth century), Qìngcháng 慶長, of Méishān 眉山 in Méizhōu (Sìchuān). Disciple of Wèi Liǎowēng 魏了翁 (1178–1237), the great late-Sòng -school philologist, whose Lóngshān jí 龍山集 carries a colophon (Tí Shǐ Shéngzǔ Kǎo jīng 題史繩祖考經) for Shǐ’s earlier and now lost Kǎo jīng 考經 collection. The dated preface (Chúnyòu gēngxū, 1250) of his Xuézhāi zhānbì 學齋佔畢 (KR3j0052) is signed at the Zǐcáo Jítáng 梓漕極堂, suggesting service in the Zǐzhōu fiscal circuit; Yáng Fāng’s 楊枋 Zìxī jí 字溪集 preserves a mourning poem in which he is styled Cháoqǐng dàfū, zhí Huànzhāng gé, zhǔguǎn Chéngdūfǔ Yùjúguān — a final retirement post as Daoist-temple superintendent in Chéngdū. The “Qíjùn 齊郡 Shǐ” of the styling refers to the lineage’s ancestral home, not his actual residence. CBDB id 10662 carries no dates.
