Wú Màishū 吳邁書 (mid-Qián-lóng physician, fl. 1756), of GǔHī Fēngnán 古歙豐南 (Hīzhōu / Ānhuī). Compiler of the Fāngzhèng huìyào 方症會要 (KR3er022, preface dated Qiánlóng bǐngzǐ = 1756) — a four-juǎn clinical formulary based on the manuscript notebooks of his late father, a hereditary Hīzhōu physician. Wú narrates in the preface that his own medical study was driven by his weak constitution; he tested his father’s formulae against his own complaints and brought the family clinical inheritance to print after the father’s death. Wú belongs to the productive mid-Qīng Xīnān yīxué 新安醫學 (Hīzhōu medical) tradition that produced the Yīshù 醫述 of 程杏軒 Chéng Xìngxuān (KR3er058) and a number of similar regional clinical compilations. No CBDB record.
