Zhōu Fāngwén 周方文 (also known by the honorific Zhōu zhēngōng 周真公, “Perfected Lord Zhōu”) was a Southern-Sòng to Yuán Jìngmíng 淨明 master active in the Xīshān 西山 lineage based at Nánchāng 南昌, Jiāngxī. He is identified in the Zhèngtǒng dàozàng as the jiàoshī 教師 (teaching-master) of the Língbǎo Jìngmíng yuàn (Pure-Brilliance Cloister), and is the named compiler of KR5b0258 (Língbǎo jìngmíng yuàn jiàoshī Zhōu Zhēngōng qǐqǐng huàyī) and KR5b0260 (Língbǎo jìngmíng huángsù shū shìyì mìjué). The texts present him as a Jìngmíng disciple posing detailed doctrinal questions to his master and receiving precise answers; the master in the Huángsù shū shìyì mìjué is the same teacher as in the Huángsù shū (commentary by 傅飛卿 in KR5b0259). No precise lifedates are recoverable from CBDB or from the standard Jìngmíng biographical compendia; Schipper & Verellen (Taoist Canon 2: 1095) place him in the late Southern-Sòng to Yuán generation.
