和田啟十郎 Wada Keijūrō
Meiji–Taishō Japanese physician (1872–1916), pioneer of the early-twentieth-century kanpō 漢方 revival. His Igaku no tettsui 醫界鐵椎 (1910) was a major polemical defence of traditional East Asian medicine against the Meiji-era policy of exclusive Western-medical licensing, and the principal influence on 湯本求真 Yumoto Kyūshin’s Kōkan igaku (KR3ef059).
