Táng Qiānqǐng 唐千頃 (fl. 18th c. 清), Qīng-era physician. Compiled the Dàshēng yàozhǐ 大生要旨 (Essential Points for Vigorous Life), a popular fertility-and-childbirth manual that became one of the most-reprinted Qīng obstetrical-fertility works. Subsequent editors continued and supplemented his text; the Xùzēng dàshēng yàozhǐ 續增大生要旨 (KR3ei075) — Continued and Augmented — represents the late-Qīng supplement. The Hinrichs & Barnes (2013) reference index entry “(Dasheng yaozhi)” places the Dàshēng yàozhǐ genre alongside the Dáshēng biān as one of the principal Qīng popular obstetrical handbooks.
