Táng Zhíyù 唐執玉 (1669–1733), Yìgōng 益功, hào Jiè’ān 介菴, native of Wǔjìn 武進 (ChángZhōu prefecture, Jiāngsū). Jìnshì of Kāngxī 42 (1703); served successively as zhīxiàn of Déhuà 德化, yùshǐ in the Censorate, prefect of Lǐzhōu 澧州, fǔyùshǐ of Guǎngdōng, xún’fǔ of Zhèjiāng, and Governor-General of Zhílì (Yōngzhèng 7/9, 1729 – 1731 and 1732–1733). His Zhílì governor-generalship coincided with the launch of the Yōngzhèng provincial-gazetteer revision programme; he initiated the Jīfǔ tōngzhì (KR2k0041) in 1729, retaining Tián Yì 田易 as principal compiler.
