Late-Qīng official of Mǎpíng 馬平 (modern Liǔzhōu 柳州, Guǎngxī), posted at Wǔgāng 武岡 (Húnán) in bǐngwǔ 丙午 (1906–7). After both he and his wife survived báihóu by means of formulae from the 張紹修 / 黃炳乾 tradition (the Shéngōng bìxié sǎn 神功辟邪散 and Shénxiān huómìng dān 神仙活命丹), he compiled the two earlier tracts together with his own foreword, dated late-spring Guāngxù 33 (1907), as KR3em031 Báihóu jiéyào hébiān, sponsoring its printing for free local circulation.
