Xià Yīngbái 夏英白

Late-Qīng pediatric physician; author of Bǎochì tuīná 保赤推拿, one of the three principal Qīng pediatric-massage handbooks named by 塗蔚生 Tú Wèishēng in the preface to KR3ee053 Tuīná juéwēi. Tú adopts Xià’s technical method as the core of his own work, criticizing it however for lacking the diagnostic and pharmacotherapeutic apparatus Tú supplies.
